Cowboys vs. Buccaneers: Best Bet

The Cowboys offense has come alive over the last four weeks, averaging nearly 28 points per game. However, I’m not confident in this Cowboys defense against this Buccaneers offense.

The Buccaneers offense has been sensational this season, averaging 28.8 points (fourth), 144.4 rushing yards (tied for fourth), and 244 passing yards (fourth) per game.

Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has seven touchdown passes over the last two games. He’s also thrown for 288 yards in three of the last four games.

The Cowboys allow 27.1 points (30th), 136.1 rushing yards (29th), and 219.9 passing yards (21st) per game.

Tampa Bay is allowing a fair number of passing yards per game, but I’m not convinced the Cowboys will be able to keep up enough to stay within four points.

Look for Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan, who has three touchdowns over the past two games, to have another great outing this week and a matchup against Amani Oruwariye.

Oruwariye has played in just five games this season and has allowed 20 catches on 27 targets for 322 yards and two touchdowns.
